An appropriate composition is consisted essentially of 5-25% by weight of powdered high density polyethylene having below 200 .mu.m in the particle size and more than 50000 of its molecular weight, 10-40% by weight of potassium titanate whiskers and remaining polyamide resin.
The sliding members molded by this composition has excellent mechanical strength, low abrasion and friction, high limiting PV value and high heat deforming temperature.
