ABSTRACT:
A resin pipe provided with a retainer fitting at an end thereof having an open end portion. The open end portion has a small outer diameter portion adjacent the open end which is provided with a seal fixed onto an outer circumferential surface thereof, and a large outer diameter portion extends axially from the small diameter portion on which is provided a crimping groove formed circumferentially on the outer circumferential surface thereof to protect a seal between the retainer fitting from crimping forces. The retainer fitting has an inner cylinder portion, a small-diameter outer cylinder portion extending axially round the opening end from the inner cylinder portion, an enlarged-diameter portion extending outwardly from the small-diameter outer cylinder portion, and a large-diameter outer cylinder portion extending axially from the enlarged-diameter portion so as to cover the outer circumferential surface of the large diameter portion.
