ABSTRACT:
When a plurality of AVClips recorded on a BD-ROM and Local Storage18constitute one stream sequence, a Playback Control Engine32starts playback if at least one AVClip of the stream sequence is in an enable status, even when the stream sequence also includes an AVClip which is in a disable status. While one AVClip is being played back, a Virtual FileSystem unit38changes a remaining AVClip to the enable status of being recognizable by the Playback Control Engine32or the disable status of being unrecognizable by the Playback Control Engine32, according to a method call by an application.
