A replica lens having a glass lens body 1 and a cured layer 2 of a synthetic resin composition provided thereon in which the refractive indices n.sub.1, n.sub.2 of the glass lens body and the synthetic resin composition, respectively, as well as the shrinkage factor k of the synthetic resin composition upon curing thereof satisfy the relationship n.sub.1 =n.sub.2 (1-k)+k.
