ABSTRACT:
Mineral particles are separated from solid carbonaceous fuel by using magnetic separation. A mixture of mineral particles, carbonaceous fuel, ferromagnetic particles and polyacrylamide in water is subjected to magnetic separation to remove a magnetized fraction enriched in mineral water.
