ABSTRACT:
Trialkyl arsine (in particular trimethyl arsine) is removed from a fluid (e.g., a hydrocarbon-containing gas) by contacting the fluid with a sorbent material comprising vanadium pentoxide (V.sub.2 O.sub.5) and an inorganic support material (preferably alumina or silica or vanadium metal).
