ABSTRACT:
The subject invention provides a remote control signal reception circuit that carries out quantization of an input data signal101by sampling the signal with a first sampling frequency that is higher than a frequency of said input data signal, and stores a result of the quantization105in storing means; and then, the result of the quantization105stored in said storing means is corrected according to each result, and is outputted as quantization data106. In this way, the present invention provides an infrared light reception unit that achieves highly-faithful reproduction of the original waveform, allowing multi-stages transmission in a simple manner.
