ABSTRACT:
A medical composition is provided for use in the topical treatment of wounds and inflammations of the skin and mucous membrane. The composition is characterized by a low pH valve and high osmotic pressure and produces hemostatic and antiphlogestic effects when applied to the affected area. Ingredients include NaCl, KCl, Na.sub.2 HPO.sub.4.12H.sub.2 O, MgCl.sub.2.6H.sub.2 O and H.sub.2 O.
