ABSTRACT:
This system is intended for relieving the drives of weaving machine components alternatingly rocking between two end positions, for instance a first rocking member forming a gripper rod drive and a second rocking member forming a reed drive. A common energy storing device, for instance a spring, is connected with the two separate drive units, so that each end of the spring is connected to one of the two separate rocking members. The rocking motions of the two rocking drive members do not overlap in time.
