ABSTRACT:
This invention relates to a dye-donor element for thermal dye transfer comprising a support having thereon a dye layer comprising an image dye in a polymeric binder, and wherein the dye layer also containing a release agent comprising a copolymer having the following formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.3 each independently represents hydrogen or methyl;
