ABSTRACT:
A collapsible shipping container of a type which includes a foldable reinforcing element which is stored in the collapsed condition when not in use. The container is of substantially square dimensions in a horizontal plane, and the reinforcing element includes provision for disassembly prior to folding so as to be accomodated in substantially congruent relation upon an upper surface of a bottom wall of the container.
