ABSTRACT:
A drapery rod comprises a ductile wire stiffener which is plastically deformable by manually generated stresses. The ductile wire stiffener is surrounded by a solid cylindrical member made up of resiliently deformable material, such as polypropylene foam. The drapery rod can be plastically deformed to conform to unusually shaped windows, such as semicircles. The ends of the rod may be deformed to provide returns.
