ABSTRACT:
One or more plies of reinforced elastomer, particularly two plies (10),(12) of rubber reinforced with twisted filament metallic cords (14) and more particularly a tire belt made up of the two plies (10),(12) is disclosed having cords (14) of 2.times.0.30 HT construction with opposed 23.degree. angles to the direction of reinforcement of the belt.
