ABSTRACT:
A fluid composition comprised of a fluorocarbon refrigerant, a hydrocarbon oil, and an alkylene oxide additive compound represented by the general formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R is hydrogen or a lower alkyl group and R' is an alkyl group, wherein R and R' contain 6 or more carbon atoms. The additive improves the thermal resistance of the oil in the presence of the refrigerant.
