ABSTRACT:
Aliphatic, cycloaliphatic, aromatic or araliphatic halogen compounds are reductively dehalogenated by reaction with hydrocarbons in the presence of carbon in the liquid phase at from 100.degree. to 450.degree. C. with formation of hydrogen halides.
