ABSTRACT:
A segmented imaging sensor having plural output pipelines in correspondence to the number of segments. Discontinuities between segments of the electronic imaging sensor are reduced by providing duplicated pixel values for pixels in an overlap region between segments, and by providing the duplicated pixels to processors that process the output from pipelines whose segments border on the overlap region.
