ABSTRACT:
A process for increasing both resistance to blocking and flow during laminating of plasticized polyvinyl butyral sheet which comprises incorporating into the formulation of the sheet a block-reducing and flow-promoting amount, preferably up to about 10 mole %, of ionomeric groups chemically bound to oxygen atoms of adjacent precursor vinyl alcohol groups.
