ABSTRACT:
A reducing agent dosing device for delivering a reducing agent into the exhaust gas system8of the internal combustion engine2of a motor vehicle, comprising a reducing agent tank3connected to the exhaust gas system8via a supply line5, 7with a dosing valve6for delivering a specific quantity of reducing agent. The dosing valve6is disposed at a distance from the exhaust gas system8in the supply line5, 7and the output of the dosing valve6terminates in a mixing chamber7. Compressed air, provided by the charge air of a charging group10of the internal combustion engine2, flows though the mixing chamber in the direction toward the exhaust gas system8to mix the reducing agent output with an air stream.
