ABSTRACT:
The production of 2,2',4,4',6,6'-hexanitrostilbene-II (HNS-II) having fin divided particles of uniform size by dissolving HNS-II in hot dimethylsulfoxide and then injecting the hot solution through a small orifice into methanol at a temperature of from -50.degree. C. to -80.degree. C.
