ABSTRACT:
A method and apparatus for recovering flux salt and recycling or reusing the same in an aluminum refining method by introducing salt brine into a cylindrical evaporator with hot evaporator gas, rotating the evaporator to expose the brine to the hot gas and removing the slurry from the evaporator.
