ABSTRACT:
The present invention is recyclable photographic film base which includes a cellulose acetate support. An antistatic layer is superposed on one side of the support and includes an antistatic agent. A barrier layer comprising a polymeric composition having a glass transition temperature of less than 90.degree. C. overlies the antistatic layer. In a preferred embodiment the polymeric composition of the barrier layer in poly(isobutyl methacrylate).
