ABSTRACT:
A recording medium loading apparatus. When the position detection of the carrier unit70capable of loading different types of recording medium11, 12, 13is performed, switches SW1˜3are installed on the carrier unit70and carrier position detecting cam140is installed on the holder40for selectively operating the switches SW1˜SW3in response to the move of the carrier unit70.Then, the position detection of the carrier unit70is performed by the combination of on/off of the switches SW1˜SW3.Therefore, the structure is simplified and the cost is reduced.
