ABSTRACT:
A recording medium which comprises a support and an ink receiving layer containing pigments provided on the support, the pigment having a BET specific surface area of 30 to 120 m.sup.2 /g and an iodine adsorbability per unit surface area of 1.5 mg/m.sup.2 or more as the main pigment component.
