ABSTRACT:
A recording material is described, containing (A) an electron-donating colorless dye and (B) an electron-accepting compound, wherein the electron-accepting compound is a compound represented by formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aralkyl group, an aryl group, or an aryloxyalkyl group, Y.sup.1 is an alkyl group, an alkoxyl group, a halogen atom, or a hydrogen atom, and m is 0, 1 or 2.
