ABSTRACT:
The invention relates to the construction of recombinant, immunodominantRickettsia typhiproteins. The invention also relates to a method for the use of the recombinant proteins, either singly or in combination, in detection and diagnostic assays. The proteins can also be used in anti-Rickettsia typhiimmunogenic formulations.
