ABSTRACT:
In a receptacle of the invention for battery using apparatuses, when mounting it to a circuit board30, an electrode contact portion15of a contact for a battery5disposed on an electrode disposing portion7is disposed so that its forward portion may protrude above a battery mounting portion52. When mounting a battery50onto the battery mounting portion52, an electrode51in a recess50ais pressed against the electrode contact portion15in such an inclined state that the lower end of an end surface having an electrode51formed thereon is abutted against the right surface of the battery mounting portion52while raising the other end simultaneously and then the battery50is pushed forward to flex a slant strip5etoward the side of an electrode disposing portion7while pressing down the other end, so that it can provide a large flexure allowance as compared to the case of flexing it vertically and resultantly enhance the contacting pressure, thus securing the connection with the battery electrode.
