ABSTRACT:
A receiver in which the sneaking noise from a crystal oscillator is reduced. A high-frequency amplifier circuit11, a mixing circuit12, a local oscillator13, intermediate-frequency filters14and16, an intermediate-frequency amplifier circuit15, a limit circuit17, an FM detection circuit18, and a stereo demodulation circuit19, an oscillator20, and a PLL circuit21all constituting an FM receiver are provided as a one-chip component10. A crystal oscillator31as an external component is connected to the oscillator20. The natural-oscillation frequency of the crystal oscillator31is so set that the fundamental component and its harmonics are out of the reception band.
