ABSTRACT:
A receiver capable of reducing the number of pads of a semiconductor device used for connection with a tuning circuit. The receiver includes a semiconductor device100containing various circuits and a tuning circuit130connected as a separate part to this semiconductor device100. The semiconductor device100has a pad112formed on a semiconductor substrate110, a processing circuit114connected via a capacitor120to the pad112, and a D/A converter122connected via a resistor124to the pad112. A tuning voltage generated by the D/A converter122is applied via the pad112to the tuning circuit130. Moreover, an output signal of the tuning circuit130is supplied to the pad112and fed via the capacitor120to the processing circuit114.
