ABSTRACT:
A razor blade assembly includes a base member with a guard member resiliently mounted on the front wall of the base member for movement toward and away from the base member. At least one blade is mounted on the base member and is resiliently biased toward the front wall by a spring. The blade is movable rearwardly against the action of the biasing spring in response to shaving forces, independently of the movement of the guard.
