ABSTRACT:
A method for stripping residual monomer from acrylonitrile copolymers which have been prepared in aqueous suspension by steam stripping acrylonitrile monomer from the suspension at a temperature of from 100.degree. C. up to 135.degree. C. and at a pressure of from about 5 to 30 psig is described.
