ABSTRACT:
The present invention relates to a combining network for use in combining a plurality of coherent radio frequency sources. The combining network is comprised of a plurality of arms, one for each radio frequency source. Each arm has a first end which forms an input port and a second end which is connected to an output port which is common to all of the arms. The electrical length of each arm ranges from 55.degree.+m(180.degree.) to 70.degree.+m(180.degree.) where m=0, 1, 2, . . . of the wavelength of the radio frequency sources.
