ABSTRACT:
A radiation image storage panel having a phosphor layer comprising a binder and a stimulable phosphor dispersed therein, in which said stimulable phosphor has such a particle size distribution that phosphor particles having a diameter of not less than 100 .mu.m are present in an amount of not more than 1% by weight and phosphor particles having a diameter of not less than 1 .mu.m are present in an amount of not less than 50% by weight. The panel shows high sensitivity and good image characteristics.
