A radiation image conversion panel is disclosed, comprising a support having thereon a stimulable phosphor layer formed by vapor deposition of a stimulable phosphor, wherein the stimulable phosphor layer meets the following requirement:in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="lead"?0≦B≦90A−0.17in-line-formulae description="In-line Formulae" end="tail"?wherein A is a thickness (μm) of the stimulable phosphor layer and B is a transmittance (%) of a stimulating light or a stimulated emission.
