ABSTRACT:
This invention relates to novel radiation-curable, rosin-based resins and the process for preparing them. In particular, the invention relates to unsaturated polyester resins containing fully fumarated rosin and/or fully maleated rosin which have softening points of at least 80.degree. C. and are capable of being flaked into solid chips; a property that make the resins useful in formulating vehicles for lithographic printing inks and other coating applications.
