ABSTRACT:
A process for preparing a compound of formula: ##STR1## where R.sup.1 is halogen, CF.sub.3 or methyl; which process comprises decarboxylation of a compound of formula (III): ##STR2## where R.sup.1 is as defined above and R.sup.3 is hydrogen or a cation. Compounds of formula (III) and processes for their preparation are also claimed.
