ABSTRACT:
The compounds of formula (I) ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is hydrogen or an alkyl radical containing one to six carbon atoms and R.sub.2 is an alkyl radical containing one to six carbon atoms possess markedly increased activity against malaria-causing parasites. Pharmaceutical compositions and method of treatment of subjects with malaria are also disclosed.
