ABSTRACT:
The compounds of the formula: ##STR1## and pro-drugs therefor wherein R.sub.1 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; Ar is a phenyl group or is a phenyl group substituted by one or two moieties selected from fluorine, chlorine, bromine, methyl, methoxyl or trifluoromethyl or is a thienyl group; and X is a CO or CHOH group have anti-inflammatory activity.
