ABSTRACT:
Process for resolving enantiomers of 1-t-butylamino-2,3-dihydroxypropane using a pyroglutamic acid or a tartaric acid as resolving agent. The enantiomers of 1-t-butylamino-2,3-dihydroxypropane are useful in preparing .beta.-adrenergic blocking agents.
