ABSTRACT:
A method for the purification of human fibroblast interferon by the successive treatments of a crude interferon solution with a strongly acidic ion exchanger and a chelating carrier which contains a chelating residue chelated with at least one metal ion selected from the group consisting of Co.sup.++, Ni.sup.++, Zn.sup.++, and Cu.sup.++.
