ABSTRACT:
A vibrating sieving unit for insertion into a housing to form a sieving filter. The vibrator directly vibrates the sieving cylinder reducing the buildup of filter cake for improved performance. A unique cleaning-in-place system is presented utilizing the fluid being filtered as the purging liquid. An alternate purge construction is also provided for use if the first purge route is blocked.
