A fuel delivery system includes a filter19for filtering fuel. The filter19has an internal wall20defining a pocket14. A fuel pump12is provided in the pocket14for pumping filtered fuel to an engine. A pump spacer structure10surrounds at least a portion of the fuel pump and positions the fuel pump within the pocket The pump spacer structure10has a portion18that engages the internal wall20of the filter19. Dampening structure22is provided between the pump spacer structure10to dampen vibration generated by the fuel pump.
