ABSTRACT:
A control system for an electronic device such as a solenoid for a vehicle transmission which is controlled by PWM. In the system, a difference (I.sub.H -I.sub.L) between the maximum value and the minimum value of current supplied to the solenoid is calculated and current supplied to the solenoid through a driver circuit is calculated based on the calculated difference and a predetermined coefficient as:
