ABSTRACT:
A method for varying the relationship of the RF cycles, produced by a reference network, inside a pulse envelope with respect to the start of the pulse envelope. The reference network, properly synthesized, is driven by a doublet impulse wherein the halves of the doublet may be varied both in width and in amplitude. In this manner, it is possible to phase shift the RF cycles by .+-.180.degree. while not effecting movement of the pulse envelope.
