A slidable member used in conjunction with a dosing device for dispensing a select quantity of granular material, a rope turns around a pulley connected to the supporting frame of the device, with two sections of said rope then extending parallel from the device, with one of the rope sections adjustably securing to a plate that connects with the slidable member.
