ABSTRACT:
Hemolytic proteins offer new approaches to drug development. The hemolytic proteins are obtained from a nematocyst ofCarybdea alata. Alternatively, the proteins may be recovered from cultured cells transfected with the sequence encoding the hemolytic protein ofCarybdea alata.
