ABSTRACT:
A protective assembly for a ladder system is provided for scaffolding structures of the type which utilizes a connector/retention system for detachably securing upright and horizontal members. The protective assembly is comprised of substantially U-shaped and substantially J-shaped horizontal members the ends of which have secured thereto connector means and which when secured to upright members to both sides of said ladder system provides an efficient enclosed circular cage with unobstructed access from a lower ladder to a platform at the base of an upper ladder.
