ABSTRACT:
The present invention10discloses a convex shaped helmet20for encompassing the back of the head14of a user18having adjustable retaining straps22, 24extending across the front and the top of the head14. The helmet20is positioned engaging the back12of the head14with an adjustable strap extending across the forehead22along with an additional adjustable strap24extending medially from the first strap engaging the helmet at its distal end. The straps22, 24prevent shifting of the helmet20during use. The helmet20is comprised of an external shell manufactured from an impact resistant material and has an interior layer of a compressible material30to engage the wearer's head14. Means for adjusting28the straps22, 24are also provided.
