ABSTRACT:
A fire helmet comprised of a helmet shell adapted to receive the head of a wearer and fit over the crown of the head of the wearer, a radially, inwardly-spaced liner attached to the inside of said helmet shell, a headband attached to said liner, fire-resistant ear flaps secured to said liner, and a fire-resistant, disengagable hood permently secured to said headband.
