ABSTRACT:
A protective film for use with a polarizing plate has a support carrying a glare-proof layer. The glare-proof layer is a resin with coarse particles having an average particle size of 0.25 to 10 .mu.m, and fine particles having an average particle size of 0.1 .mu.m or less and a refractive index of 1.40 to 1.60, embedded in it.
