ABSTRACT:
The body garment is of seamless knit and unitary construction and may comprise a panty or the body portion of tights or panty hose of the one-piece type. The body garment comprises a plurality of panels formed by reciprocal knitting which enables variations to be made in the size of different portions of the body garment according to the walewise and coursewise dimensions of the several panels. These panels comprise two elongated waist panels generally formed with tapered edges and separated by a crotch panel running generally perpendicular thereto. The last complete course on the leg portion of the body garment is parallelly interknitted with the adjacent courses on both the crotch and waist panel sections.
